If there is any country that should, or one would expect would have a handle on any and all political uprisings it would be Germany…. That nation has had what one could easily argue to be a cultural commitment to destabilizing Europe. No way they pull off a hat trick…

That is true. After Fukishima Germany shut down a bunch of nuclear reactors, and tried to make up the difference with renewables. The price of electricity spiked so bad 600,000 German households had their service shut off due to lack of payment. This winter with the Russia cutting off gas and oil it looks like the worst is yet to come in Germany.

Gotta keep people on edge. If there’s no crisis to stir up fear, they’ll manufacture one. Then the pharma companies can keep making billions on anti-anxiety meds. Roll Eyes

Our rates from Pennsylvania Power & Light increased 38% a couple months ago. Here we can shop for our electric, and out of the 88 flat rate suppliers for my area PP&L is the second cheapest.

Our son finished a big, three year welding job at a new natural gas power plant upstate a couple years ago. It's owned by a subsidiary of PP&L, and is in the same town as their nuclear plant. With the natural gas supply & prices what they are, I don't know if it even started up yet.
