You may have to get used to it. Verizon in my area is spotty at best and they plain don't give a shit. Bob I am no expert, but think I am sometimes.

Up until a few days ago, Verizon had really solid coverage around here. The problem began the day we had a big lightning storm. Total Wireless told me to contact them again Monday morning, when the Verizon network people would be reachable. We'll see what happens. I have no intention of getting used to it. There are too many alternatives. We'll see what happens on Monday, but I'm guessing that I will be switching providers. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

T-mobile is excellent in the Orlando area, and at $70 a month for two phones for unlimited everything, is a good choice. They acquired MetroPCS network a few years ago, and are in talks now to buy Sprint. This means great coverage and the largest/fastest 5G network when that starts rolling out next year. As I understand it. ______________________________________________________ Often times a very small man can cast a very large shadow

Eat, sleep, fish. Forced to work. |
We had to purchase a Verizon Network Extender. Without that, no way could we make or receive a call at home without it being dropped right away and usually had one bar showing for service. With the network extender hooked up, our phones work great and show full bars for signal.

Does Verizon give access to all their towers to the MVNO? ___________________________ The point is, who will stop me? https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...990026293#5990026293

I have Total Wireless as well and so far, have had no issues. However, I have heard -- and this may just be urban legend stuff -- that carriers are able to "prioritize" users on their network. If so, it may be that the lightning strike did not take out the cell site entirely, but damaged some of the base station equipment such that it can't handle its normal load. If Verizon can prioritize users, they may assigning priority to Verizon users and "bumping" non-Verizon users. (Caveat: I used to work for Motorola's cellular infrastructure division, but I was in Legal and it was 15 years ago.) _____________________________________________________________________ “One of the common failings among honorable people is a failure to appreciate how thoroughly dishonorable some other people can be, and how dangerous it is to trust them.” – Thomas Sowell

If you make enough noise they will give you one. You may have to threaten cancellation. Bob I am no expert, but think I am sometimes.
