Interesting "Hereby, the "three-day war" between India and Pakistan has not provided a definitive answer to the question of whose air force capabilities are better. However, it clearly demonstrated that, in modern air combat, technology is just one component to success. Competent tactics, the level of pilot training, the effective use of intelligence and electronic warfare assets, as well as integration and coordination with other armed services play no less, and perhaps even more decisive roles. Chinese weapons have certainly passed an important test and have proved themselves as a serious competitor on the world market. But the battle in the skies over Kashmir is more about how David can successfully confront Goliath not only with physical weapons but with the ability to use them to best effect and the knowledge of the enemy's weak spots. And this is perhaps the most important lesson to be learned by both New Delhi and Islamabad, as well as by Kyiv." https://www.ukrinform.net/rubr...rned-by-ukraine.html __________________________________________________ If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit! This is about Chinese weapons. Did you read the article? __________________________________________________ If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit! Sigs Owned - A Bunch

Yes. Chinese weapons were used (against French supplied weapons) and were part of the discussion in the other thread. It's curious that they keep calling it a 'dogfight'. CNN reported India and Pakistan's fighter jet 'dogfight' was one of the largest and longest in recent aviation history. And while a total of 125 fighter jets 'clashed' in the skies over India and Pakistan, neither side ever crossed into the other's country's airspace. The missile exchanges occurred at long distances, and in some cases at 160 kilometers! ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! Yeah, but "dogfight" sounds more dramatic than "missile exchange". Well, unless maybe the missiles are nukes.
