First trip out with the new can and my buddy rested it on my range bag. Hot can on Nylon guess what happened.
Figure I would just burn it off with a propane torch.
I shot about 3 more mags hoping it would burn off when I was shooting. Some did but still a fair amount on there.

Going to need to repair the strap as this bag can get heavy. LaRue does not make this bag anymore I don’t think.

Ha! I've been there.

Don't worry, a slightly jacked-up can makes you look more like an operator. Cool

According to AI, freezing the object and then using an appropriate tool might cause it to pop off. Or try acetone or brake cleaner if that won’t damage the underlying finish.
Also, reheat and scrape off with a wooden tool.

Need to get it off because it stinks and smokes really bad.
It was burning off while shooting but ammo prices I can’t afford to shoot enough to burn off at the rate it was going today.

I let mine burn through a table.

I just got it hot and scraped it off with a stick.

Yeah, same problem with my Spectre 9K on the end of my F/A MP5. I don't bother cleaning the outside of the can, just the inside.

Ask your wife if she minds you using the kitchen oven. It would be a good time for testing that self cleaning cycle!
