ArtieSLooking for a trail/brush cutter of a thing (FOUND IT: Sugar Cane Machete)
I could use a tool like that here in Central Florida.
When you get it, please post a review of weight, balance, quality of steel and ability to hold an edge.
I have been thinking of doing the 3/4flap thing and making one out of a chainsaw bar, but since I can't do heat treat in my own shop, I'd really rather just buy one.
Thanks.

One I saw was likely closer to 30” overall length.

Black92LXStill looking around a bit now that I know what it is actually called.
I’ll let you all know which I decide on. Likely to hike again with the fella that has it this weekend so I’ll see if it has any markings on it.

I am going to say that is the exact tool there.
Likely discontinued for awhile as no one has it online.
