Is your city or even small town about to be having an organized "peaceful gathering" of folks upset with DJT and EM trying to steal our democracy and giving it to the rich? I found out today that my city has one in the works at noon today (4/5/25). I was curious, so did a search for Hands Off and was sent to a website, >mobilize.us<, which listed many obviously very organized protests across the nation. I suppose in larger cities busses and professionally made signs might be provided to have a higher profile event to attract the media. I am going to try to find the event and see how well organized it is. Strange that the event is planned but to find the location you have to sign in. Things that make you go HMMM...
Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. We are fighting back!
They're taking everything they can get their hands on—our health care, our data, our jobs, our services—and daring the world to stop them. This is a crisis, and the time to act is now.
It is to laugh! Where the hell were these people since the "great society" started sucking us dry?
There will be protesters to protest anything and everything. Morons. Looks like several cities around me are having it, but there isn’t one in the city I live in.

No surprise if there is one in MQT. They had several "Black Lives Matter" demonstrations. Which seems odd since there are not a lot of black people in the Yoop!

In this town we have a large Italian population. Every Columbus Day, they gather at a statue near where I work. The leftist protestors show up at that every year. This is not new behavior its been going on for many years.

Yeah, there's one planned for the city nearest me (Rochester). I also saw one in my suburban town while driving into the office this morning; there were about 8 of them. I chuckled as I thought to myself that I was working on a Saturday and they were being jackasses on a Saturday. Ah well....

I don't see anything for here or the rest of the Tri-Cities. There have been protests by the "Occupy" crowd and, more recently, BLM in 2020. Here is some footage of the latter protest. https://www.facebook.com/Johns...ar/1117280722006250/ Unlike others, this one actually stayed peaceful. Let's hope these others stay peaceful as well.

I have the Citizen app that shows incidents or events around you and people can livestream it if they are there. I guess this event in Austin, TX at the capitol got postponed due to rain, but just got a notification on the app about it and someone was livesteaming. I listened to about 10 seconds and couldn’t stand it. They were complaining about the repeal of DEI and saying they outnumber the Trump supporters and will take back America. Ummmm….then why did Trump win if you outnumber his supporters?

Immediate impression I had when viewing some photos of these "demonstrators" online is that these aging baby boomers are the same people I remember from those protesting the Vietnam War in the 1960s. For lefties, the socialist/communist playbook never changes.

You know the quickest way to stop this nonsense is to stop all counter protests.
Instead, we should infiltrate their “cause” with signs that read “Hands off my right to have sex with hamsters” or “HAMAS supports hands off!” Or “pedophikes for hands off”. Just the most confusing offensive signs
I think there was one planned for Lexington, but with all the rain and flooding I doubt it went down. Heck, they're cancelling "Thunder over Louisville" this year and it may affect the Derby if it keeps raining and tornadoes.
