Apple has said as much (Link), in their round-about way, but other tech sites have made it much clearer. The Control Center toggles do not completely disable wi-fi or bluetooth. They just disconnect from current connections, but leave the service available. And the toggles do not disconnect an Apple watch. To completely disable, use Settings instead of Control Center.

Oh no I updated a couple of days ago and everything has been fine but last night started noticing a very slight but perceptible lag when using the phone now? When I launch an app, it's almost like it's thinking about it for 0.5- 1 second before it opens when before it was virtually instantaneous. The lag seems to be with everything I do on the phone now. Anyone else see this? Phone is 64GB iPhone 6 with 40GB of space available.

Sorry if this is very basic for you but have you tried shutting down and restarting? "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I've done that and hard reset, it still seems a little slower than it was before.

I think you mean 11.0.1; it supposedly fixes the Exchange mail issue.

After updating to 11.1, I can select my aftermarket or homemade ringtones, they will play when selected but won't play when I get a call. I have updated to 11.0.1 and no change. Any ideas?

May I assume we rebooted the device and the problem persists?

Mine has gotten much better after a couple days and a hard reboot but it's still in need of a mid day charge.

The only problem I’m having is with my Apple Watch. When I get texts on the watch it shows the sender’s number and not their name. The voice to text in messaging also doesn’t work. I hope they get that figured out. It’s usable but a nuisance.

Yes, hard booted twice. No change. Sucks that I have to use the regular tones.

My imported ringtones are working after updating to 11.0.1. Perhaps it is a legacy result of how you imported them? iTunes 12.7.0 changed how it is done, as there is no longer a tab to add tones. You have to drag them from Finder (or Explorer) to the phone's place in the left hand side panel of iTunes. Maybe reimporting them that way would solve the problem?

It is almost comical how fast my battery drains now that I have upgraded my iPhone 6s to iOS 11. ___________________________ All it takes...is all you got. ____________________________ For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

I see no battery difference in my SE. Still get almost three days between charges. So far everything is smooth, the phone actually seems snappier. On a side note I updated my Mac Air to High Sierra last night. All went smooth and somehow I went from 110 gig of free space to 117 gig when it finished. Thought that was cool.

Siri now also searches the apps on your phone Inorder to limit this one has to turn it off on every single app individually ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Live today as if it may be your last and learn today as if you will live forever

^^^^ How do you do this? And what if you don't use Siri? I keep it disabled. ETA just went in and looked I still had turn Siri suggestions off in every app even though Siri was off. Not sure if it makes a difference but they're off now.

My iPhone 7 had reduced battery life for about 5-7 days after updating to iOS 11. After that, it returned to normal. Hopefully it will do the same with your 6s.
