Since moving here in '94 I've seen exactly one... not vintage but a relatively new model in the Safeway grocery parking lot. And that was last summer. ![]() Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club! USN (RET), COTEP #192

I don't think I've ever seen a Maserati, certainly not around here. Besides not having a dealer for at least 500 miles, people who do have money are more likely to have a lifted 4x4, often diesel, truck.

I live in the exotic car capital of the world. It sure seems like it at least.

Yeah, there are plenty around here. I know someone that works for the Porsche/Maserati dealership and he says that they sell quite a few of them. I pass at least six or eight of them most days, and a bunch of Alfa Romero's. Plenty of Porsches also. They don't turn any heads, but the guy with the Nissan GTR sure gets attention! ARman

Not to mention they have some of the highest rates of depreciation in all the automobile world. You can find tons Quattroportes in great shape for 20-$30k all day long. I’d say I see a few every week. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand. My wife has one. They are not the most common car around here, but parts of Naples are pretty wealthy, so Granturismos and Ghiblis are not exactly rare either.

"Yes" but then we have a dealer within 5 minutes of both my office and home that sells Maseratis, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bugatti, and Lotus. There are other dealers who sell all the other exotics like Porsche, etc.

Here in South Florida you don't see all that many and there's a few dealers here. You see LOTS of porsches though as well as all of the other super cars.

I see maybe 1 a month, fairly rare to see, it’s winter now and I’m thinking those drivers have a winter sled they drive vs getting the trident salty. A few Sigs and some others

Yep, see a lot of them around here as well as lots of Teslas. Some neighborhoods seem to have gardeners driving at least BMWs. Strange, it is usually very young women driving the Maseratis. Hmmmm.

I live in Wyoming. I posted in this thread though because the question made me think of our trip to London not too long ago. I was blown away by the number of high end cars in and near London, which BTW covers a small geographic area; all the areas of “London” that I had heard of, e.g. Kensington maintain their distinction. BMWs were as common as Subarus in Colorado. Every other car was a Bentley, an AMG Mercedes, Ferrari, etc. etc. _______________________________________________________ despite them

Back in the eighties had a friend whose dad drove his off a bridge into a lake and died. He was a doctor so the family had money. The mom drove another, and when she picked me up to hang out with said friend, I remember she drove it fast. Seemed like decent vehicle. Not as cool as my uncles early convertible Porsche.......911 maybe? "And I think about my loves, well I've had a few. Well,I'm sorry that I hurt them, did I hurt you too" I Was Wrong--Social D.
