Letting these weird guys get their foot in the door was a bad idea, and now the actual females want something done about it.

Women's advocacy group hand-delivers demand letter to NCAA 'to keep women’s collegiate sports female'

I don't see what their problem is.

They've said for years that they were equal to men and now they're saying they're not?

I'm so confused...

Good, I wish them MUCH luck and success in their efforts. I've thought from the beginning that ALL women put in a position where they would be forced to compete against a male need to simply boycott the event, and refuse to participate. The NCAA (and other sanctioning bodies) would get the message quite quick if NOBODY showed up at the starting line except the male(s) that had the 'balls' to do so! Roll Eyes

This Bull Shit is getting out of hand...Insanity!

It shoots down the narrative they've been pushing for decades. Can't have that.

Imagine most of the females competing don't want swinging dicks in the locker rooms or having to compete with men.

Not all women athletes are left wing gender fluid pronoun hugging pro trans activists, so we shouldn't be lumping the entire group into some kind of left wing progressive that get what they deserve. Nor are they feminists who despise the way the male-female genders are portrayed, most are probably just kids who have worked their butts off to get to where they are, no different than a kid who played baseball from 5 years old.

That is as wrong as lumping all gun owners into some kind of far right wing group because we have guns, and we do have lots and lots of guns...

Good for them standing up against the NCAA and University activists in the top levels of the schools that are letting this happen. Many may be on a scholarship, and have zero ability to quit without losing funding for academics so they can't do or say anything without being ostracized, drug through the media and financially damaged.

I would venture that MOST females want biological female only teams. If I was coaching a swim team that had to compete against that guy I would have told my girls to stay on their blocks when the gun went off. Let him swim by himself.

There is a response on that webpage that already says what I feel is by far the most effective tactic that college woman athletes could employ. I couldn't have put it any better.

So here is the best comment below that article:

There is no way the NCAA can do this. It will not happen with petitioning, reason, or begging. The only way this could happen is if the female athletes just refused to compete....which they should. We have to face facts, and the fact is that no matter how the NCAA tried to do this, there is no way to do it, that I can think of, that wouldn't be saying these trans athletes aren't real women. There is no way the NCAA is going to do that. They will have to be forced to do that. They SHOULD do it. But they won't. The NCAA is way more committed to their political views, than they are to their female athletes. This will not happen unless the females simply take a stand and refuse to compete. If they don't, college sports will just be divided by the mens league, and the men with long hair league.

This is the way and this shit would work. Well.

There's been a few more books and articles that have come out about the locker-room culture surrounding women's sports. The high-profile sports like WNBA and soccer, has painted a picture that seems very street-culture, where intimidation and threats of violence and not uncommon. Strict adherence to the 'narrative' enforced by loud, demonstrative lesbians and butches, was expected and anybody who went against this, was removed because of 'poor culture fit' or, 'not being a team player'. For college athletes, you're at the mercy of the coaches, not unusual to threaten a player that they'll pull their scholarship for petty reasons.

It'll be interesting to hear and have some sunshine shone, on what many of these women have scolded and shouted-down if they spoke up or, went against things.

I don't think most women, and certainly not most women athletes, have ever claimed that they are as strong or as fast as men.

As an anecdote, even Venus Williams has acknowledged that any decent male tennis pro will be able to beat her pretty handily. She knows they hit the ball much harder, and are faster.

Women can demand equal treatment in social, educational and work settings without saying they are the equal of men in physical strength.

And even where women say they can perform physical jobs that were traditionally male - like being fire fighters - I think they are saying they are strong enough to do the job, but are not saying that they are as strong as the men. (You many not agree that they are strong enough, but that is a different question.)

Women athletes should howl about men being allowed to compete against them. It makes women's sports meaningless.

The problem is everyone is scared to death to be called the next ism or phobic that common sense is thrown out the window.

Of course women should be given equal treatment or opportunities. That doesn’t mean they can do everything physically that a man can do.

Hopefully one day we can get to the point that certain jobs just have a certain strength requirement and it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman. To do some jobs effectively there might be some positions that favor men. It doesn’t mean you have to lower the bar and take less effective candidates. Just like there are some jobs that favor women. It doesn’t mean you are sexist towards one or the other.

I remember several years ago going to watch a buddies daughter play soccer. He’s a conservative and his daughter had a scholarship to go on and play college soccer. Anyhow after the game a bunch of parents were standing around waiting for their girls and a bunch of moms started talking about a boys wanting to play on the girls team.

A bunch of them started in with the usual buzzwords of inclusion and other B.S. so that was the general consensus. Since I didn’t have a girl on the team I didn’t feel any need to play along or be quiet. Once the ring leader finally quit talking I asked her if she would feel the same way if one of these guys took her daughters scholarship away. You should have seen the look on her face change dramatically.

It’s weird how many people can’t seem to see nonsense unless it affects them.

This got me wondering: are there any trans females in combat sports like boxing or MMA? I don't mean Andy Kauffman...or maybe I do, I'm not really sure anymore. Anyway, I was mostly wondering if the addition of weight classes to the mix evens things out at all or not. I guess weight lifting and wrestling also have weight classes, so those could also be instructive.

Chocalatito Gonzales is a super flyweight boxer, which is 112-115 pounds. He is thought by some to be the best pound for pound fighter ever. If he "became" a woman, he would destroy women boxers, probably all the way up through almost all the weight classes. I cannot imagine what he would do to a 115 pound woman boxer. It would be a 30 second knockout, every time.

In short, weight classes wouldn't matter at all in most sports.
