BigNCI don;t know it if it is the post covid work from home economy mentality or something else. So far this last 2 years, NO carrier is exempt from stupidity on my behalf.
Had a large several thousand dollar package (5 actually not show up last year until the re-order from the company arrived. Then the originals arrived almost 8 weeks later beat to heck.... Fedex.
Packages originating ANYWHERE going through the UPS facility in Jacksonville, Florida have been MIA for up to a couple weeks before magically appearing on someone's scan and tracked and ultimately delivered. Assumptions are unanimous that they are just sitting in a corner until someone loads them.
USPS- maybe the same issue as Jacksonville with more creative tracking. Some items apparently end up in PR before coming back and several have made the Jacksonville, FL to Texas and back trip a few times before delivery. By several, I mean half a dozen!
I live in the country so expect delays from Ms. XYZ skipping work at the local level but the other stuff baffles.

Glynn863My rant is about Saturday deliveries - With my local USPS, I am convinced that if an incoming package or letter doesn't get into the post office by noon on Friday, it won't be delivered on Saturday. I have signed up for the USPS email notification system, so I get daily emails saying what is due to be delivered. Multiple times I have received emails promising Saturday delivery, especially for packages, and then nothing gets delivered. Usually it arrives on Monday instead. It is especially frustrating when I pay for expedited service.
