Not only are the prices ridiculous but just finding a truck is crazy. There are no 4 X 2 Dodge Rams, either '24 or '25, anywhere in this area. All the dealers can tell you is that there are just none to had. You can get all the 4 X 4's you want.

Nobody wants a 4x2 especially in areas that are prone to get bad weather where 4x4 or all wheel drive is a necessity so I'm not surprised to learn they're scarce. I rarely use 4x4 on my Tundra but I'd rather have it and not need it than need it than not have it.

Dang!

That much money for one vehicle doesn't make sense to me. Confused

I have a 2017 F-150 I was lucky enough to buy new.

There are a lot of things I miss about my 2002 GMC Sierra.

I honestly think more of the trucks (and most vehicles for that matter) made ~1998-2002 were just all around better in every way.

Just enough tech to make them comfortable and reliable, but not too much to make them impossible to service.

...and paying $70k for a vehicle that will be worth at best $10k in less than a decade is just insane.

My new old stock 2024 F250 XLT with quite a few upgrades had an msrp of just shy of $59k. Came down more than $7k off of msrp after treating me really good on my trades. So deals are out there off msrp. Now are msrp's high, yes.

Always check with your Credit Union before shopping, NFCU is offering 4.49% for 60 months

Even that, which I'm assuming is a better than fair deal in today's market, seems ridiculous to me. But a 7% mortgage also seems ridiculous to me. As my mother would say, "it's a sign of the times, I guess."

Had a dealer in NoVA give me an “out the door” price on an F-150 several years ago. Sent me the paperwork and it was $5k over that price. They claimed it was non-negotiable. Told them to pound that thing right up their asses.

My 2016 F150 XLT had a sticker price just shy of $50k. Discounts & rebates got it nearly down to $35k.
The same truck today is something like $62k

calugo, we rarely get bad weather here and snow only happens once or twice a year if that. But most of the trucks are 4X4's anyway.

They’ve gone to 2025 where that same truck would be like $65k in today’s money. Smile

What you have to factor in is that MSRP across the board is legitimately 20% too high to begin with.
Go from there. Frown
