While no longer actively collecting I have accrued a nice collection of Southwestern Pottery. I also collected cue sticks - primarily Brunswick's from the mid-60's to the mid-70's - a transitional era about which little is known or documented. Also have appx a dozen bespoke cues, that I used over the years as a player (mediocre player at best - primo cues). Adios, Pizza Bob NRA Benefactor Member

I can't really say I'm a collector, but I have a dozen or so Haida prints on my walls. Mostly because I enjoy them. Some say I have a bourbon collection, but again. It's for my enjoyment. I suppose in the end that is really what it is about. Things that interest you and bring you joy. Cheers~

Like others, I have way too many knifes, flashlights, HAM Radio. Not sure if they are "collections" or "obsessions/addictions". I keep vowing to start thinning the herds, not making much progress on that though but at least I seem to have stopped buying more... What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

I used to collect Blenko glass years ago but lost interest with their change in designers and pricing. As a kid I collected baseball cards. Nowadays I don’t really collect anything, just memories with my family. Build a man a fire and keep him warm for a night, set a man on fire and keep him warm the rest of his life.

In my younger days, I used to travel quite a bit for work all over the world. I started collecting shot glasses and have accrued over 200 for places that I have been. I have a state collection as part of thatand I think I’m only missing Hawaii and Alaska. I’ve been everywhere, man. _____________________________ Pledge allegiance or pack your bag! I’ve got a beer can (some old / foreign bottles) collection that I started when I was a kid. Probably been collecting about 50 years. As a kid I would crawl under raised houses here in New Orleans and collect lots of them. Over the years people would randomly throw cans under houses or when the house was being built. I’ve got a ton of the old flat top beer cans, where you actually needed a can opener to open them. Mostly from a local New Orleans brewery that has been closed for years. Both Fallstaff and Jax beer breweries.

Sweet! I have a few of those as well.

I have a collection of “flickalampa” flashlights. Pre-war, wartime and post war. These are mostly rectangular with red, green and sometimes third color filters. Mostly identified with Germany but common to all continental nations, even the Brits had some models. No pics because mine are packed away. I find the pre-war models most interesting, plenty of diversity such as fish eye lens lights and magnified lens. “Posterity! I think we need to bow down to GrumpyBiker! Wow! Like others, I have my fair share of watches and knives. Several custom made knives by members here. I have quite a few lefty guitars. Being a lefty and not seeing many available in the wild, I've gone a little nuts when I do see them. Also a good collection of stocks. Sometimes I think I'm running my own mutual fund.

I respect your collection ! I don't collect them myself, but I have five (or six) and use them all, as each one caters to a specific accurate use range. My latest acquisition was a genuine CDI, it's the bomb. My others are not premium units like that guy, so I really like it when I get to use him. Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. Your anvil collection is impressive. I've always wanted one but never pulled the trigger because of high cost for a good one, and lack of available working space. Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. Coyote School of DIY Disaster

I live 8 miles from an Amish community and an hour from the center of the largest population of Amish in the world. That helps a lot. Lots of blacksmiths to learn from as well. My wife has encouraged me to purchase another lot next to our for a blacksmith shop so there may soon be a couple more making an appearance. The market isn’t like it was back when that Forged in Fire was a big deal & prices have dropped a bit.

That is very cool, Black92LX, and very good to know about Jamie Thomas. As a kid, I collected coins and Hot Wheels. On the Hot Wheels, I had several of the original 16, plus the Snake and Mongoose Drag Set and a few others. I took great care of those cars. In my teens, my mom allowed my nephews to play with them; that was the end of them. About 10-11 years ago, I began to indulge in watch collecting. At one point, I realized they were my Hot Wheels replacement. That hobby got to be really pricey, and I felt out of sorts spending that kind of money, so I sold most of them, but kept a couple. I am still fascinated with the precision and art of well-made mechanical watches, much the same way that I am fascinated with the precision and art of well-made semi-automatic handguns. .

I have several (too many!) small, relatively unimpressive collections; mostly just things that mean something to me: - antique cameras (still and movie) - antique toy guns (both miniature and life size) - belt buckles - foreign currency (bills and coins) (Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, England, Spain, Tunisia, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey, Greece, Ecuador, and some Euros) - challenge coins - a few Zippo lighters - cigar bands, boxes, and tins - a few boxes of old ammo (including 1 box of 9mm Black Talon) - a few modern Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars - one unopened pack of German Pokémon cards (1999 Starter set) - inherited coin collections from my father (proof sets) and my wife’s father and great uncle And, as many others on here: - knives - flashlights - watches Some of the antique things are from my childhood and youth; other stuff is from the last 40 years or so. I have collected glass telegraph and telephone line insulators. Most are from the late 1800's. I have several that date to the Civil War. When I tell folks what I collect, I frequently get the sideways eye. Then I flick on the light in the backlit case and jaws hit the floor. (Please spare me the heartache of the stories of, "I used to shoot those off the cross arms with a .22 when I was a kid" stories.... ************************* Chaos, panic and disorder. My work here is done........ Not everyone gets the same version of me. One person might tell you I'm an amazing beautiful soul. Another person will say I'm a cold-hearted asshole. Believe them both. I used to collect shaving mugs. During one of the moves it disappeared. Probably in a box that looked like trash and thrown out,
