I for one, am appalled at this disgusting display of Police brutality. The Police could simply have shot the gun out of his hand, and apprehended him without loss of life. Where were the Police's tasers and bean bags, during this ordeal, where the perp was pointing a gun at them? For a man that was just turning his life around, this level of savage physical violence is obscene.

That didn't look intentional. More like he was having some problems with his central nervous system at that point. Bodies are electrical. They tend to do some strange things when those pathways get screwed up.
