Vegetarian by proxy...

My mother does the vegan thing, as does my wife, intermittently (presently she's been on a month of nothing but liquid green goo...and lost 30 lbs).

When visiting my mother, she puts together a meal with vegan meat substitutes and she swears it can't be distinguished from the real thing...textured protein stuff, I guess.

It can. It's nothing like meat. At all.
