Just because you can,
doesn't mean you should

They probably used that as an excuse to bail from his contract too.

He recently recorded some of the older hits with a bit of new and what I heard sounded terrible.
His voice hasn't aged well and along with meany of his other political views beyond just the antisemitism, have made him radioactive to the older fans that would be their biggest customers.

I suspect he can still live out his years well on any residuals if he doesn't overspend too much on jet fuel (another hypocritical behavior he has).

I believe DSOTM deserved better than Roger’s treatment. It does put me to sleep quite effectively in a couple of songs. Have actually used it for this purpose.

Last month he played in Buenos Aires. He was declared persona non grata in three major chains hotels and am not sure where he stayed.

Missed the show but my In laws and nephews were there. I watched it at home, comfortably numb Wink
The tour consisted in four parts, Pink Floyd stuff, Roger’s solo stuff and DSOTM 50th anniversary celebration. I was expecting he would play his latest album, DTSON Redux but he played the original version instead. A bit disappointing there.

The fourth part is Roger bitching and moaning over this and that and everything else in between. Lecturing the public and vomiting his musings as if they were relevant or slightly interesting. They’re not.

The show is mostly black, white and red. Quite similar to the previous one. The red lighting will fry your brain once past the initial shock effect. Gets boring very fast, annoying even faster. Had enough with the previous tour (us + them?).

I will regret when he’s gone. He was musical genius and I absolutely love The Wall, can’t get tired of it. The rest of his human existence is none of my concern, so please do not insist in rubbing it in my face.
Had i been at the show instead of home i would have yelled “fuck you!” at his endless and tedious yada-yadas. Go and be a musician, play your shit and fuck off!

The whole show is exactly what tou’ve been listening since the day it has been released. No ad-lib.
Personally, i find that depressing. I understand not everyone is a showman and most are studio musicians (on tour) only. That is why i rarely attend a concert these days.

I will give credit where credit is due, and for Waters I will admit that I do enjoy the DVD of the In The Flesh tour. The high points are watching Snowy White and Doyle Bramhall
