He specifically stated that he chose the name as an insult to religion. I agree that I don’t have an issue with evolution theory and I am a massive fan of the band Tool. In fact he and I shared comments in a few threads IIRC about our shared enjoyment of them.
Yes, it’s based on a Tool song that is based on the evolutionary theory…but his intention, in his own words as well as I can recall, was that he intended to take a shot at religious individuals.
I’m sorry I don’t have proof. I just remember that because I realized he was a kind of an asshole on that day.

Honestly I'm pro-choice too, I was raised to respect other people's private matters. You don't know if a girl got raped, or has some condition that makes pregnancy life-threatening. I will not judge people on these matters and I will not legitimize the folly of man to legislate such.
Of course emotions will rule the day, just as it will with gun legislation. And that's not a good thing.
I looked at 46 as an ally on many issues, but I'm at a loss to understand the reasoning behind turning full-bore commie.
