Leaving on a cruise to Bermuda today. Hope we don't implode.

Lost internet for the trip here. We are just pulling into port now. Food is okay. Not great and I’m kicking myself for eating so much that isn’t worth the carbs and calories. Some bars have good choices and good bartenders. Others not so much. We have the premium drink package so I’m gettin Old Forester whiskey sours. They have the 1870, 1910, and 1920 versions. I had a couple of Blanton’s old fashioneds yesterday.

Crowd from Boston is mixed but not too far off from Carnival really. We haven’t submerged but I bang on the hull every half hour so you can all find me. Going on a catamaran snorkel thing today. Expensive restaurant with friends tomorrow. Otherwise plans are flexible. Beach tomorrow day most likely.

Day 2. Ship seems to float too much for implosion. Food really is subpar. Went to Horseshoe Bay beach today. Great beach. $70 for at tent and 2 chairs. Sat on right side cove area. Really nice. Parrot fish and other fish could be seen just around the rocks. Went to dinner at Fourways. $1500 for 3 couples. So very pricey but that was lots of booze and expensive wine. Happened that friends were in Bermuda the same week so we met them there. We plan to come back here via plane sometime. Island is awesome. Cruise not so great.

$250 per person. $500 per couple. There were a few bottles of wine. One of them was $150. Not sure on the others. I had maybe 5 vodkas. Rack of lamb, veal, and ribeye steak were some of the choices at the table. Lobster bisque appetizers. This was like a 3.5 hour dinner experience. Soufflé for dessert. Not something we would do very often for sure.

We are back on the ship about to leave. Bermuda is beautiful and expensive.
