My wife and I have been on the trail 3 or 4 times. She has a good time and doesn't even like bourbon. I would recommend Jim Beam as they have the largest campus with the most to do. After that I like going through makers mark. All the distilleries have something unique to go for. If you watch your time you'll probably only get about 3 of them done in a day. If you have the time, try going through Independant Stave Company. They are a cooperage that makes barrels for a variety of makers in and out of the area. Have a great time! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Conflict is the root of civilization. | |||

I stayed in Louisville the 2 times I went down to the trail. BT is a must, Four Roses is also cool. I had fun at Bourbon Row in downtown Louisville. I also have done AngelsENvy. Wanted to do rabbit hole but never got there. The Louisville Omni is top class, great bars there along with food. I enjoy Doc Crows when I am in town also. https://www.doccrows.com/ Shawn. I did the Makers ambassador tour in November. As said above tours fill up quickly at about all the distilleries. Buffalo Trace is my Favorite, and I also enjoy many of the smaller distilleries that you can find. “Government exists to protect us from each other.
