Member Y posts in that discussion.

Member X deletes his post.

Does “member Y” then appear in the Topic Starter column?

Once a topic is replied to, the topic starter cannot delete their original post, because in doing so, they would delete the posts of others, which is something no non-admin member has the permissions to do.
