Totally agree. It's just not for him that's all. He has no problem with anyone else wanting to do it. And people trying to compare it to a GP race is just ridiculous. Everyone knows GP is still dangerous and people do die but no where near the rate as the TT.

Sounds like a man who knows his limitations. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Move Up or Move Over |
There was a time I would have given just about anything to run a good bike at the IOTT. Those days are gone. Now I watch and hope no one gets killed. I think IOTT is the pinnacle of racing (any type of vehicle) at the edge.
