I just watched a video showing Mexican police engage cartel on the border with Guatemala.
And the Guatemalan military appeared to assist the cartel.
Firing on the armored police vehicles.

Hopefully so.

Keep in mind that Mexico is set to host a portion of one of the largest sporting events of the year - the FIFA World Cup (for soccer) - starting in June.

That's barely more than 3 months away, and is supposed to bring a few million international tourists into Mexico.
