Already had a friend who lives outside of San Diego contact another mutual friend who lives in Mesa, Arizona about ordering ammo for him, having it delivered to Mesa, and then re-shipping person to person to him in San Diego. Simple disgusting honest, law abiding Americans are having to try and work around the system and risk arrest and/or litigation because of the political filth in Sacramento.

Ridiculous. I guess Ammunition will be just one more thing the Mexicans will be bringing across the border there in addition to all of the drugs.

California is no longer part of the United States. Too bad for the people in the northern part of the state, but California is now its own sovereign nation- New New Mexico.

The place is run by people who are insane. If you doubt me, just see for yourself. Whatever they are, they certainly are not Americans. They do not believe in the principles stated in our Constitution. If you do not accept the Constitution, I don't care where you were born or who you think you are- you are NOT an American. You're a foreign interloper benefitting from the Constitution but not believing in it. You're just a tourist.

Yeah, there is no saving California. It's gone for good. Any reasonable people left there need to bail out.

Ok, so couldn’t one simply declare their property a sanctuary stockpile and refuse enforcement of the laws on the poor undocumented migrant bullets?

Good for the goose, good for the gander right?

As we discussed in the Calexit thread... they want it both ways. They don't support the borders of the US or the Constitution but they have the largest number (and I think percentage too) of people collecting welfare from federal programs.

Outside of The Liberal Enclaves of San Fangeles
it's not so bad.... but the lib population centers have destroyed the State.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

The unfortunate part is that a good part of the state is normal. It's the large cities like Frisco etc that drive the craziness and they shit on everyone else. The "Tyranny of the majority" which in Frico is the "Majority of Trannys".

And one of the few pro 2nd amendment judges on the 9th circuit just called call out to resign for sex harassment a few days ago. His well known quote was:
quote:
"The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed - where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees." Justice Alex Kozinski

This is a *really* bad idea. The shippers absolutely know a box of ammunition when they handle it. Asking UPS or FedEx to take that shipment is asking them to break the last. Should they be offended by this and contact the authorities, sender and receiver would be in hot water.

Stack it deep before SGammo stops taking orders for CA on the 21st, then make do with what you have until you can escape this communist hellhole. Frown

Too bad for folks in the far northern part (Sacramento and San Francisco are considered northern Cal), the Central Valley, parts of the central coast, and the few rational folks stuck in the liberal bastions that make up the rest of the state. Less than five more years, less than five more years...

NY tried the background check thing planning to use NICS until NICS told them to shove it. We still don't have a background check in place. I guess there's not enough money after feeding and housing all the lowlife's.

It's more than the revenue, it's about the ammo. Otherwise they'd be after ALL the rest of the stuff people order online to avoid paying sales tax.

This might just be liberal "me too" legislation. They saw that NY did it, ignored the fact that it didn't work as planned and isn't really doing anything, and want to implement it any. It's the progressive thing to do, they don't want to be left behind. I'm sure it was a feather in prince Andy's cap that he got it passed before CA did, it's usually the other way around. I remember when the Safe Act passed and everyone said "good, fuck you, you get what you deserve". Myself and others warned, you may be next. Well here we go, it's starting. Frown

As I understand it, when I cross the border into California, if I have a single round in my car, then I am subject to arrest.

Is this correct?

I haven’t read the text of the bill but several folks have mentioned more than 50 rounds in this thread. Check the bill.

California is the ultimate example of the perfect crime.
Commiefornia legislature makes the commie laws that are upheld by the area commie courts and so on and so on.
The only chance is at the Supreme Court which you have only a small chance of getting heard let alone the opportunity to make things right.

They probably won’t go after the average Joe, but the gun grabbers like this legislation for the simple reason that it will stop all online sellers from shipping to California. That is the real goal here.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but the background check and tax don't take effect until 2019. This Jan is the ban on importing from out of state and online sales. According to Turner's.

Still sucks. I am a resident of another state, ordered to be here by the federal government. Why are my rights being infringed?
