WONDERFUL!

My step-sister is adopted...she has not yet made the decision to go "in search of".

Good for you. One of my oldest friends found his mother a few years ago when he was 65. They got a few years together before she died. She had lived in the same town as he, but moved 35 miles away some years ago. He also found 4 half brothers he did not know he had and they did not know about him.

Again, I am glad you found her.

My mom passed away in 2013. But my dad was very excited for me.

That is awesome! I got chills reading that. Very cool!

Do you have any brothers or sisters as well that you didn't know about?

My birth mother and birth father did not stay together, or even in contact. They are both married to other people and have kids now though. My birth mom has 3 kids now. I havent really looked into my birth father. For some reason he was never the one i wanted to find, if that makes any sense to anyone.

That's awesome news. I'm glad you were able to get the answers you were searching for. The fact that she lives so close to you definitely defies the odds, especially after 29 years.

Man, I tell ya, everything I read any more constantly gets blurrier and turns all fuzzy.

Congrats on your new findings and may they continue in a direction in which enriches your future.

I can tell by your story/replies that your parents raised a great young man!
