I did not write this, I may even have copied and saved it from a post here on SigForum, but it seems apropos..........

quote:
Once you get past your childish tantrums, you're going to want to think all is well between us, but it will never be so again. I will not forget how you called me a murderer, or a racist, or any other of the myriad insults you hurl simply because you are trying to shame me.

I will not forget that you blamed me for the evil of others. I will not forget that you advocated branding me a criminal and using force to make me comply.

I and many others purchased your right to speak to us the way you do. Some paid in blood. Some paid with their very lives. If you think we will simply forget your hateful insults, your denial of our integrity, you are fools.

I would pray for you to see reason, but I no longer believe that is possible. Now I just pray to survive the whirlwind your folly calls down.

You will need us again some time. When the enemies you create with your hatred eventually come for you, you will beg for people like me to defend you. I will remember how you treated me and people like me, and I will not stand for you. I will teach my children not to stand for you. I will leave you to the fate you have so richly earned for yourself. I will not risk myself or sacrifice for you ever again.

My curse upon you is this: may you be treated, in the end, as you have treated others: without mercy or understanding. May your evil return upon you threefold. And may you know without question why that those of us who would have stood between you and that evil will never do so again.

Never heard of them. Probably some silly soccer thing. I could care less. I imagine those in the ceremony are used to it and could care less about them either.

Just so you know. There are tens of thousands of good Americans in and around the city of Portland.

If it makes you feel better to condemn a whole community based a a bunch of American hating pieces of crap. Which there are many there and many other places. Go for it. But it is a pretty shallow thought process imho.

Conversely, my son graduated Air Force basic training three weeks ago. He told me that people in the airport in San Antonio clapped when he and several other airmen boarded their plane. And in St. Louis, they were applauded in the terminal after they landed. Others approached and thanked them while they waited for the bus to Fort Leonard Wood, (where he is based for tech school).

I would have been one of the clappers.

You did a good job of raising a very good child (man).

My thanks to you and your son for his service.

Which tech school? I know Fort Leonard Wood does CBRN, EOD, some Engineering, along with advance training for Security Forces.
