My accountant ran the Western States 100 several times, entering as a 35yo & last entry as 45yo.
This is the 100 miles in "24 hours" if you want the BIG belt buckle. From near Donner Summit/Olympic Village to Auburn, California.
That's 'only 4 miles an hour'.....for 24 hours straight....
It did rather get in his blood, & he ran many other marathons, never in the top finishers, yet he finished most of them.
