None of the above. If the corn is fresh and not overly cooked, I take a fork, insert underneath several rows, tilt the fork forward and the rows come out nicely on the fork tines.
I had always done typewriter style, then got braces as a teenager so cut it off with a knife. Now I stay away from high glycemic index foods & corn is high glycemic.
