This is fairly recent and is as annoying as vocal fry. Gavin Neesom constantly moves his hands when speaking. He reminds me of the Tourettes guy on YouTube. The hand gestures communicate nothing. The other offender is that obnoxious blonde on the mortgage stealing commercials. Her voice is annoying and condescending and she uses her hands to demonstrate how a mortage is transferred. I guess the commercial is geared towards third graders.

The flailing hands when speaking drives me nuts. Most times I’ll turn it off.

Greasy Gavin has been made fun of A LOT recently, regarding his gesticulations.

He's an actor, for sure.

Yes, he’s an actor. The recent Vogue article about GN was just short of a blowjob…and I can’t even rule that out.
He pretends to give a damn about…well anything and then loses steam.
One wonders, did he ever really give a damn about anything?
I think we all know the answer to that!

I worked with a nice guy who was a chronic hand gesturer as he spoke. I made the mistake of being a passenger in his car once and it was absolutely terrifying.

I will never knowingly be the passenger in the vehicle of a chronic hand gesturer again.

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Nancy P. is even worse. Tie her hands and she wouldn't be able to speak.

I also live in fear of my life when riding with a gesturing driver. When that is combined with a driver that believes he (she) has to look directly at a person when he is talking to them - that is heart-attack city.

If had enough “likes” to last me a lifetime. “Likes” as it pertains to advertising, pressing like. And also in vocabulary. Younger people use “like” in every single sentence and it’s as or more annoying than vocal fry. Get a damn dictionary people and learn how to speak in proper sentences. To quote Valley Girl “like you know?”
