Need some input from those who know better than me with this. When we bought our house it had one of those bath fitter type "drop on your shower/tub and forget it" type things done to it and it's time for it to go. I want to do a nice stone tile for the walls however here lies my conundrum.

We don't plan on staying in this house forever but don't mind making it nice in the meantime for us. I'd love to scrap the idea of a tub completely and just do a walk in shower, however the bath is the only full bath the house has. My thought is (And in line with some realtors I've talked to) that since this house is good for a new family potential buyers might be turned off by the thought of a house with no bath.

So with that in mind, the tile I'd like to use is the Daltile Noce natural stone, which is a beige color, seen here in this backsplash: https://www.nwtile.com/wp-cont...-no-logo-resized.jpg

Or something similar. The one thing I'm stuck on is finding a tub that would work with it. I'm worried using a beige/tan tub would bring the house into the 70s rather than the 2020s. Anyone have any insight or ideas as to how it might look? Or would a white tub with the tan tile not look off?

I was thinking maybe something like this for a modern but matching look: https://www.homedepot.com/p/KO...1957-LA-33/304674469

White tubs rule. Off-white is fine. I'd first be more concerned with the quality of the tub, before color. Can't go wrong with Americast.

Although that Kohler deep soaker you linked sure is spiffy.
