Pretty much the same with my LG 2.5 years old extended warranty then went tits up. Warranty work replaced door seals then on compressor #3 and condenser. I joined the lawsuit suing LG fuck em.

Paid $2200 plus for extended warranty. Piece of shit and I will never buy another LG product.

Well it's fixed. Pretty telling when LG shipped a new compressor to my home before ever looking at the unit 1st.

Same tech that "fixed" it in March with a motherboard flash .

I was the last call of the day - he replaced 4 compressors before mine today alone! Turns out I had the $89 cheapo compressor LG puts in their "lower" models - if you consider $1500 lower - he replaced it with the $350 unit used in the upper end ($5000+) Signature series .

Better mechanism.....more robust...............still cold this morning!
