^^^^^^

Let’s hope Walz and his Glorious Trifecta are politically damaged so severely that they are unceremoniously stuffed down the vile hole they crawled out of.

Elon Musk Targets Tim Walz, Suggests Lawsuit Over ‘Nazi Salute’ Claim
Elon Musk is considering legal action against Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after the failed vice presidential candidate claimed on national television that Musk made a Nazi salute. The X owner responded to Walz’s comments on social media Wednesday, calling the Democrat “creepy” and hinting at a defamation lawsuit.
The controversy began after Walz appeared on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” where he brought up the claim that Musk performed the gesture at President Donald Trump’s inauguration rally. “Of course he did,” Walz insisted, keeping alive a debunked narrative that had already been dismissed by figures including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
After filmmaker Robby Starbuck shared a clip of Walz’s comments and suggested Musk should sue him, Musk replied, “I think I will.” He followed up by referring to Walz as a “creepy” clown emoji. The billionaire later suggested he may also take legal action against MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, who previously suggested Musk’s gesture resembled a “Roman salute.”
The claim against Musk stems from a moment at Trump’s inauguration rally where he tapped his chest twice and extended his right arm. Left-wing critics immediately latched onto the image, accusing him of making a Nazi gesture. Defenders, including Netanyahu, dismissed the accusations as politically motivated smears.
Musk, who spent $277 million supporting Trump and Republicans in the 2024 election, has increasingly become a target for Democrats and liberal media outlets. Walz, who ran as Kamala Harris’ vice presidential pick, has continued attacking Trump and his allies after their landslide loss in November.
Walz’s office has not responded to Musk’s legal threats, and neither he nor MSNBC have issued statements regarding the controversy. Meanwhile, Musk remains the wealthiest person in the world, with Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index estimating his fortune at $428 billion.

If Elon sues him into oblivion the Minnesota taxpayers are the ones who will foot the bill and we will still be stuck with that leech on our ass.
I'd sooner see Elon pay for a private investigation into Timmy's ties with China. I don't think it would take much deep digging to discover his playing footsie with the Chi-Coms while a member of the national guard crosses way over the line and would be enough to imprison him.

IDK, wouldn't it be a personal lawsuit vs sueing Gov Tim Walz?

It would be presented as that but that weasel would find a way to get his fingers in the coffers to pay for it. I doubt the DNC would help him out as he is an abject failure and poison to them now. No way he pays for it personally. I don't know if a "citizen" such as Musk could fund his own investigation on China Tim and then turn his findings over to the FBI once Kash is in control but if it's at all possible it should be done. It would be money better spent.

He has put himself in quite a bind. He almost has to run for a third term as Governor or he falls off the map for two years before he even has a chance at a cabinet position, etc. That assumes a D win in the White House. There is no R Senator to challenge in MN, so unless he kneecaps one of his own party (could happen), he's about done with this game. Meanwhile, he is faced with a pending budget deficit and a tied MN House that is in no mood to cooperate with him. I love it!

All true but I think Jensen beat him last time but the fix was in. I know that's cliche and overused but it's a fact much of the time in Minnesota. I said after the riots there was no way he gets reelected. I figured all those white liberal upper middle class suburbanites in south Minneapolis would abandon him once they could see the flames, smell the smoke and hear the riots. I always lean towards giving the voters more credit and lean more towards cheating is more prevalent than we want to admit.

It's always easy for us to say how can those other people be so stupid to keep voting for this or that person when in fact we do not know who or how many voted which way. Gives perfect cover for those who count the votes.

Lawfare may be the only way to turn the tide on these mouthy cretins. Even if they never go to trial, having to deal with them, endlessly, might stop some of the more ridiculous claims or even shut them up.

When I do venture into the Metro area, I'm still surprised by the number of people wearing masks, so I really don't have a reliable sense of just how liberal it is down there. Your point is correct though. With the numbers concentrated in a few counties, it's easier to pull off shenanigans than if you had to do it statewide.

Tom Fitton and Judicial get a nice check from me every year and this is one of the reasons why. I'm guessing Kristi Noem will comply rather quickly.

quote:
A conservative watchdog group filed a lawsuit last week against the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for records relating to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s “connections to the Chinese Communist Party.”

“Quite simply, there is a massive cover-up of what the Deep State knows about Tim Walz’s connections [to the] Chinese Communist Party,” said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, the organization that filed the lawsuit.

Walz’s numerous trips to China became a major issue of his 2024 vice presidential run as the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability launched an investigation into the governor’s “longstanding connections to Chinese Communist Party (CCP) entities and officials.”

The chairman of that committee, Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., has led investigations into the CCP’s broader efforts to infiltrate and influence various sectors of the United States. Comer has stated that China’s infiltration campaign has included efforts to influence American elected officials.

“Mr. Walz has visited China dozens of times, served as a fellow at a Chinese institution that maintains a devotion to the CCP, and spoke alongside the President of a Chinese organization the State Department exposed as a CCP effort to influence and co-opt local leaders,” said Comer when he announced the Walz investigation in August.

“FBI briefers recently informed the Committee that the Bureau’s Foreign Influence Task Force investigates CCP activity that is similar to China’s engagement with Governor Walz. The American people deserve to fully understand how deep Governor Walz’s relationship with China goes,” added the chairman.

His committee published information obtained from a whistleblower in October, which included a screenshot of an internal message among DHS employees in which one DHS official said: “Walt’s [sic] got the Vp. You all have no idea how this feeds into what prc [People’s Republic of China] has been doing here with him and local gov. It’s seriously a line of the intel. Target someone who is perceived they can get to DC.”

In a letter to former DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Comer said the message “shows DHS officials with subject matter expertise discussing, on the same day Vice President Kamala Harris selected Governor Walz as her running mate, the CCP’s targeting of Governor Walz.”

“A whistleblower has provided further information to the Committee that indicates officials from DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) have been involved in the Department’s investigative and/or intelligence work connected with the CCP, the state of Minnesota, and Governor Walz,” Comer’s letter continued.

In December, Comer said DHS had failed to cooperate with the investigation or produce records.

Judicial Watch also filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request in October seeking communications related to the whistleblower report as well as any “Intelligence Information Reports and Regional Intelligence Notes” on Walz. However, DHS failed to respond to the request, according to Judicial Watch.

“Secretary Noem should quickly release any records in response to Judicial Watch’s lawsuit,” Fitton said.

WTF is he talking about? I swear I don't know who would have been worse, him or harris. But thank God it was neither. We didn't dodge a bullet with their defeat, we dodged a nuclear bomb. And did you ever think we would hear a Governor of a State cheering on crowd about the stock price of an American company or value dropping or the possible collapse of that company? Run in 2028 asshole. I can think of several guys that will kick your ass into the ground. Fucking commie. Go back to China.

I'm hoping this is just poor attempt at humor and not serious.

Everyday I get up, make my coffee, sit on the couch and open my laptop. First thing I do is scour the headlines looking for news this asshole has been busted bigly for traveling to China unauthorized while a member of the National Guard and his ass is going to prison.
