As a life long MN resident - fuck that commie asshole. He and Ellison are still suing bars and restaurants that dared defy their lockdown orders.

The worst governor Minnesota has ever had. Blew an $18 Billion surplus in 2023. Thats B as in B; S as in S. That $18 Billion will now have to be incorporated into the state budget, raising the budget by around 25% or so-and he'll raise taxes on the working people. He is a dyed-in-the-wool communist that never saw a spending bill he didn't like. He is as anti-business as they come. God forbid he is unleashed on this republic. His administration is marred with fraud and graft. His hand-picked directors retire after presiding over fraud. He is an evil, evil man pretending to be Mr. Nice Guy.

He is a stain on the state and country. He has no shame. He is bleeding businesses in the state dry. Read about Uber and Lyft in Minneapolis. Read about the Minneapolis/Minnesota food fraud. Read about the new state office building. Fraud and graft and corruption abound.

This man is bad.

He pillories and vilifies producers in this state, and commends and glorifies the takers, the grifters and slackers. He never saw a tax or government program he didn't like.

Did I mention this is a bad, bad man?

He is driving life-long Minnesotans out of the state with his policies. Unfortunately, we have democrats ruling the house and senate, so it is spend, spend, spend with no restraint, no checks and balances.

Sounds like you live in a colder California. There is no limit on the creative crap the DEMS come up here in Sacramento to punish producers, demonize those who want to protect or keep more of what they produce, and believe there's a never-ending spigot of tax revenue for their asinine ideas.

This and more. Well put. You and I are at least on the outside of the cesspool known as the Twin Cities. Timmy is ratcheting up his leftist rhetoric hoping to make points. I was saying a year ago he was going to throw his hat in the nomination ring in 2028. I will say this, the guy can be a polished speaker. I remember his Covid press conferences. He could speak like he had doctorates and phd's in every medical field known to man. He must have memorized and rehearsed those speeches for days between each one. He can lie with a complete and totally straight face like most Democrats can, but he is exceptional.

I recall in one of his Covid press conferences when he was mandating bars and restaurants close at 9pm because as he put it "We know Covid spreads the most between 9pm and 2am". I laughed out loud. I looked at the wife and said do you know how many mouth breathers are listening to him right now shaking their heads in agreement? I've never seen him put himself in a position where he had to defend his Covid policies or how he let Minneapolis burn. I probably never will. I doubt He gets on the ticket.

I could say a lot, but bcereuss pretty much nailed it. Can't wait for Tim Jong Walz to fuck off. It sounds like his support of rural democrats is eroding, if they keep doing the stupid shit at the legislature it may be enough to topple their control. I keep praying for it.

Could this mean we’re rid of him permanently?!

Tim Walz picked as Kamala Harris' VP in the 2024 presidential election

Kamala Harris picked Minnesota's progressive governor Tim Walz as her running mate to take on Donald Trump and J.D. Vance after weeks of speculation and a bitter fight between candidates.

The 60-year-old father-of-two, who has been married to his teacher wife Gwen since 1994, joins the ticket in a victory for the far left of the party who were concerned about some of the other contenders' support of Israel.

In Minnesota Walz has codified the right to abortion, signed universal free school meals, legalized recreational marijuana and gave voting rights to former prisoners.

The former teacher is also credited with being the Democrat who started calling Republicans 'weird', a craze that has dominated the campaign since Joe Biden dropped out of the race last month.

Walz turned the North Star State into a refuge for LGBTQ Americans and has also backed making Minnesota the 13th 'sanctuary' state for undocumented migrants.

Harris announced her decision after a hotly-watched veepstakes in the two weeks after taking over Biden's campaign.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly were in the final three with Walz to run with Harris on November's Democratic ticket.

Seems like a bonafide lefty, well suited to be paired with Harris.

It’s also the common M.O., destroy the State while a Governor, move on to the national scene.

They picked an old white guy to be the attack dog it would seem.

Straight out of the Obama/Biden playbook, if this doesn’t tell you Obama’s running this I don’t know what will convince you.

My FIL texted me this morning:

Need videos of his peaceful protests in MN and him refusing National Guard. Burning down cities. I’d run that on a loop all summer

Yesterday the local news radio reported that "VP Harris was busy interviewing prospective running mates." LOL. Yeah, I'm sure it was all her.

Someday I hope the real story comes out. Whichever Dem Party and Deep State operatives are calling the shots, they told Harris who it was gonna be and that was that. I can't see how Walz will move the needle and still wonder if they'll pull a real last minute switcheroo.

Sounds like an unknown loser commie. He is not presidential material, had no plans to run in 2028, so they picked him. Newsom, Whitmer, Shapiro, AOC, etc. would not touch the VP job with a 10' pole, they are waiting for 2028, knowing Harris will not be the incumbent.

Past DUI Arrest Continues to Hound Tim Walz After Conflicting Claims

https://www.breitbart.com/2024...-conflicting-claims/

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), who emerged Tuesday as Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, will likely face new scrutiny over a 1995 DUI arrest after court records emerged to suggest he had misled the public about the case.

Walz, who was living in Nebraska at the time, was pulled over for drunk driving. He eventually reached a plea deal and admitted to reckless driving. The issue surfaced in later political campaigns, but Walz said he had not been drunk.

In 2006, when the issue emerged during Walz’s race for Congress, his campaign said that the arrest had been the result of a misunderstanding. The Post Bulletin of Rochester, Minnesota, reported:

Walz’s campaign said the arrest by a state trooper was the result of a misunderstanding caused by Walz’s deafness; his hearing since has been surgically corrected.

Walz pleaded not guilty to the charges and sought to suppress the blood alcohol test in court, according to court papers, before agreeing to plead guilty to reckless driving. He paid a $200 fine.

Walz’s campaign manager Kerry Greeley didn’t dispute that Walz was speeding when he was pulled over that night, but she said Walz was not drunk. She attributed the misunderstanding to Walz’s deafness, a condition resulting from his years of serving as an artillerist in the Army National Guard.

However, as Alpha News reported in 2022:

Gov. Tim Walz has said in past campaigns that he wasn’t actually drunk when he was pulled over for driving under the influence in 1995, but a court transcript from the case tells a different story.

“Mr. Walz was driving south of town on 385 in Dawes County at a high rate of speed. Actually, he was driving away from the police officer. I think that he eventually hit a speed of over 80, as I recall. When he was stopped, he was given a blood test which did show a .128 blood alcohol,” [former Dawes County Attorney Rex] Nowlan said, according to a court transcript.

Walz’s attorney, Russell Harford, later acknowledged that Walz “had been drinking” but said he was driving away from the state trooper because he “thought somebody was chasing him.”

The transcript can be found here.

Walz is an aggressive progressive. I was wrong. He got on the ticket. I will be happy to be rid of him in Minnesota but I doubt we will wind up with something any better the Dems have a strangle hold on this state. Don't expect Vance to shred him in the debates. Walz is a polished speaker and can obfuscate with the best of them. He will have all the non answers down pat and the lies will flow smoothly from his mouth.

He is dangerous.

Perhaps, but then why did it seem like Shapiro the last two weeks was kissing serious ass and nearly crawling on hands and knees begging to be chosen? Just the other day he was even denouncing as publicly as he could his pro-Israel stance. Pathetic.

Just saw a post on Reddit in the only conservative sub there that was from a Minnesotan who said Walz shut down all the restaurants there in Minnesota during Covid then himself would be seen driving 20 minutes over into Wisconsin to go to restaurants. Fucking hypocrite just like Cruella DeVille there in Michigan who locked people down into their houses, you could not even go buy seeds for a garden but she got caught taking her own family on vacation out of state.
