Since Lou Alessi is gone, my old Alessi gun belt is past it’s prime, so what do you enablers recommend?

Thanks,

Archerman

I've currently got 2 We the People belts. Recommended by a coworker.

https://wethepeopleholsters.co...ced-with-scuba-nylon

I got them on sale when they were 2 for $99, so I got black and brown.

Swapping between them, they're not taking on a significant curve like my prior cheap belts did.

A second for Beltman. I have 2 of the 1
5 bullhide belts. They look great and hold up well.

For everyday wear I wear the following....

Ares Gear
Kore Essentials
Wilderness Tactical

I've moved away from the traditional Rigger's Belt style that Wilderness popularized over to the more modern styling of the former two. Ares Gear has a nylon-type slide buckle that I'm able to wear and not take-off when going through TSA checks.

The Beltman.
Great quality, service, priced very reasonable.
I have several and have been trying to wear out the first one for more than a decade of daily use.

NexBelt. Kore Essentials. And I just tried out a stretchable GrooveLife belt for travel or when I cant carry OWB. Its buckle system is not belt slot friendly for OWB Holsters, but it works great for IWB. Light weight and stretchable, but not floppy. Working great so far!

Another recommendation for The Beltman. I have about 3 of them, they've all held up great for many years.

+1

As far as my EDC belts:
  • I have a plain horse leather Beltman from the original North Carolina based owner. 13+ years old and saw a ton of use its first 5 years. Now, I mainly wear motorcycling carrying a j-frame IWB. Has held up well and is a darn good belt.
  • May 2016 Armour belt #1. A 1.25" wide belt I wear every day to work but have only carried a gun with it a few times. It's fantastic and has held up well.
  • May 2016 Armour belt #2. A 1.5" wide embossed belt that I wear on weekends and evenings. It's my primary carry belt carrying a P239 IWB. It's fantastic, has held up well, and slightly prefer over Beltman.
  • In 2017, I bought a pair of Lucchese full quill ostrich boots and decided I needed a belt to go with it. I bought an Armour Belt with full quill ostrich inlays. The owner, Mike, was super helpful by sending swatches of both the smooth leather and full quill leather inlays to insure they matched the boots. He used to be a member here but last post was long enough it was purged. I only wear a handful of times per year but I really like it and get tons of compliments. Technically, it's a gun belt, but it was expensive enough that I've never scuffed it by wearing with a holster and if I'm this dressed up I'm drinking alcohol (i.e. no gun anyway).

I have also bought leather belts here.

15 years old and still holding up.

    Thumbs up for Belt man

    Cautionary note:
The belts that I have ordered from him are great, but very stiff/ rigid.

If your kydex holsters are thread through only,

It can be challenging to get the holsters on and off.
Clip on holsters are not any kind of an issue.

I'm still using The Beltman that I have for 10 years now. I just ordered 2 KORE belts to see if I like them. I like the idea of easy on/off of the rachet buckle. But I find the Beltman a lot more comfortable. I even wear it as my daily belt.

Another vote for Beltman. I have several.

Before that it was Rafter S. (I think that was the name.) The last two I got from them Della sent them right out. But she passed and I started buying from Beltman.
