Calls are forwarded from a landline to a cell phone. Voice mails frequently do not show up for several hours. Is this a carrier issue, {AT &T} or an issue with the Iphone itself? Any fixes for this problem? I need to know where to start. Thanks

At least your forwarded calls are ending up in voicemail. Mine have been getting a recording saying that the call could not be completed, or that the number wasn't in use. Although I have been getting my voicemails in a reasonable amount of time lately, I have had instances of up to 24 hours before they came through. One of the "tricks" I learned was to call my number as if I was checking them manually. Hang up after it tells you how many new voicemails you have, and generally they'll show up on your phone within a few minutes.

AT&T can’t find their ass with both hands. They’re almost as bad at Verizon. At least that has been my experience.

The problem is NOT your iPhone. It is your service provider (AT&T?). הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

I used to get the same issue on at&t. Texts would show up a day late and voicemails wouldn't come in for hours. I haven't noticed the issue since my area upgraded to 4G LTE but when i go to an area that is 3G only I may as well shut the phone off.

The fault lies with the thing that calls itself "at&t" these days. As telecommunications companies go: IMO they're about the worst on the planet. Orange France (formerly Wanadoo, formerly France Tèlècom S.A.) and British Telecom used to be worse, but I'm not certain, any more, since I'm now out of the business. The thing that calls itself "at&t" is really SBC (Southwestern Bell Corporation) which kept trading places with the other merged original AT&T divested Regional Bell Operating Companies as the worst telecom in the U.S. When the real AT&T, through a series of missteps, finally became weak enough to become non-viable, SBC bought the remains and took the name. It's still really the same old crappy SBC, though. "A rose by any other name..." I remember when SBC acquired Ameritech. Everybody in Ameritech's region went "YAY!," because Ameritech was absolutely horrible. That elation lasted all of about a year or two. When SBC acquired AT&T I nearly cried ![]() Absolute worst telecom with which I ever had the misfortune to deal. Perhaps the worst company in any service or product with which I ever had to deal. VTAIL ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I sent an email. Maybe in spam folder of yours? I spelled cloud wrong the first time and it came back to me. Spelled correctly this time, I think. Anyway calling the Phiilipines was in jest. The last tech told me they communicate via text now and still have problems because of outsourcing of work orders to the Phillipines.
