Thank you, bald1.

Seeing your handle reminds me that back when I had a 2001 S2000, I thought about getting a license plate that would be RX 9K QD:
Prescription: 9000 rpm daily. Big Grin

LeRoy was buried at Miramar National Cemetery today with full military honors by the US Navy. My son-in-law has a friend who's a pilot at MCAS Miramar next door, arranged a flyover.
LeRoy's whole family was there, they spoke feelingly of their love for him. My son-in-law told this story:
He was driving his daughter Audrey to school and asked her how she felt about going to Grandpa's burial. She said "I feel OK because I will see him in heaven. But that will be a long time...but not so long for you."
One of the founders of the company he worked for at the end described as having a "unique skillset": he had an engineer's mind but could fabricate anything.
Listening to LeRoy's children speak of him, it was clear that his best work was right there in front of us.

Fair winds and following seas, LeRoy.
