At least there is no traffic.

Me too! Most of my drudgery-filled meetings have been canceled and I can actually get some work done!!! Were still shipping product out for the time being.

Cant go out to dine anywhere...Governor Stupor issues a fiat by press conference closing all the restaurants in NC without approval of the NC Council of State reviewing it first (they were giving 30 mins to review so they said No and he rode roughshod over them and the Lt Gov). Typical leftist a-hole wanted to be just like his commie buddies in CA, NY, WA...

The local gym is closed so I got my road bike back out to ride this afternoon after work (haven't ridden since moving here from TX Aug 2018 - no reason just super busy) so that will be fun.

This w/e - patch some sheetrock, cleaning home office, watch some movies, make Carcamusa (Toledo Spain pork stew).

Amen to the no traffic, Marzy. I don't even have to take toll roads if I don't want to.

Working diligently to keep the lights on and staff paid at my business.

I'm an optimistic person so I am working enthusiastically to keep the dark clouds at bay.

I know many small business owners are in difficult situations right now and I keep them in my prayers.

Be well my imaginary friends!

I’m relearning a wonderful ancient computer programming language that I last used 30 years ago. That’s a fun task for me, and I’ve already thought of several projects that the language will be useful for. And will probably think of even more.

Actually, one of those projects is what prompted me to find a downloadable source for that language.

No spare time, ( yet ).

I have plans lined up in case it does happen though: Clean and organize the garage, some yard work, clean out the vehicles, clean up/organize my hobby/gun/ammo storage/man room, clean up some guns, update the ammo inventory, etc.

If this craziness looks to continue on longer, I'll set up the reloading bench and start back into cranking out ammo.

Being a teacher, I’ve been redoing my lessons for the next month that will have to be done online.

With my own kids at home, keeping them busy, outdoor time when applicable and trying to hide the new Traxxas TRX-4 Sport crawler from my wife.

My daughter didn’t show up for morning class, so I suspended her. Apparently, as her teacher, I’m not supposed to be drinking on the job, either... Wink

Finally started to get over this damned cold after a month and a half.

Went for a walk yesterday with the fam and the dogs. Couldn’t seem to keep the dogs from running off into the poison oak at any opportunity. We’ll see what the fallout from that it.

Other than that, keeping the guys lined out by phone, taking care of the livestock, and mostly staying on the ranch. Pretty well stocked so not much shopping needed.

I have two loves, spending time in my wood shop and brewing my own beer. I just started a dark Belgian ale yesterday. It's happily bubbling away in the fermenter now. Of course it will several weeks or more before I can even sample it.

What language?

SNOBOL4. It’s a wonderfully excellent language for dealing with text data. PERL is the next-best language for that purpose, but it’s far behind.

SNOBOL is a convoluted acronym for "StriNg Oriented and symBOlic Language".

Actually, I have SPITBOL, which is a compiled version of SNOBOL4 (which is interpreted). Same language, but executes much faster.

Oooh.. I like that. I used to ask why they're darkening my doorstep. Followed by "let me guess, you're here for your benefit, not mine". It kept them pretty much on the defensive. Guess I was just too nice (yeah, right) to tell them to get out.

The reality was I at least would try to help if the problem was one I could help with.

Random Observation -

If the castaways were never rescued, Ginger and MaryAnn would be the last two living residents of their island. They lost The Professor about 6 years ago. Assuming no children were had, Ganger and MaryAnn have likely 'married' and live in a lesbian relationship.

Their 5 friends all dead and buried, I'm sure they often wander the island, contemplating the time they have remaining and secretly hoping to be the first to die, not wanting to be left alone.

Huh, this working from home sure gets the thoughts wandering.

Just like spare change, I put it in a bowl to use at a later moment.

No spare time just yet. I may complete a full basement bathroom install I started fifteen years ago.

Pictured are scraps of 30mm-thick granite rough laid.
