Well, it's NOT hosed...Yet! At this point, you just need a 'Do Over' and you get as many as you want. Trust me, you are NOT alone...Everyone that has posted in this thread has, at some point, needed a 'Do Over' during a Windows Install because 'Fuckin Bill Gates'! If it were me, I'd give it another shot. I'd get to a C Prompt and use DISKPART to delete every partition on the Disk, and convert it back to GPT. The I'd run the Windows Installer on the Bootable USB. This assumes you haven't headed down the street to the PC Repair Shop so I'll avoid typing a VERY lengthy post until that's confirmed. Regardless of how you get there, this should be squared away in no time! ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! The shop has it and I won't get it back until next week because of the long weekend. Thanks to all for the effort.

I'm late to the party and could give no useful advice even were I on time, so all I can offer is my sympathy for having to deal with this shit. I think a lot of PC sales are made because it seems worth the $$$ to just start over. === I would like to apologize to anyone I have *not* offended. Please be patient. I will get to you shortly.

Too bad I didn't know you had a Dell Inspiron. That's what my laptops have been; I could have shared with you what the Dell technician walked me through when my laptop got hosed trying to reset it. It might have worked for you. 1. Ensure Wi-Fi Connection 2. Restart Computer 3. Press F12 continuously at the Dell Logo 4. Support Assist Recovery 5. Select Test (optional) 6. Select Reset Computer "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
