I hurt my leg and need to use crutches. I'm getting some pain / bruising in my hand along the edge of the wrist, from outer edge of hand to the thumb. Basically, the base of the palm. I'm using some cycling gloves with gel in the right spot but it's rather a cheap glove and the gel isn't really too effective. Any recommendations for a padded glove (fingerless?) that can help with crutches use? Hopefully not too expensive (ideal if I can use with bikes as well I guess). I'm looking at cycling gloves, mechanix, wells lamont but haven't found anything suitable yet. "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." Would a piece of foam pipe insulation on the crutch grip do the trick? That would be cheap. "If Gun Control worked, Chicago would look like Mayberry, not Thunderdome" - Cam Edwards

Perhaps. I could try if I can order online. Would prefer to order online rather than go to a store at this point. "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." L.Tolstoy "A government is just a body of people, usually, notably, ungoverned." Shepherd Book

I wear these gloves when lifting weights. There is padding but it isn't too thick. Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

Try vet wrap. Also called sports wrap I believe. It only sticks to itself so there’s no adhesive residue if you remove it. It’s soft and spongy.

Get a pool noodle from Walmart and slice it with a razor blade to fit. Then wrap in place with ace bandage, total cost about $4.00 delivered.
