Hey bendable, I've wondered about this also as I ditched my failing flip phone earlier this year and picked up a Moto G Play 2024 real cheap. What I've found is an app I have NOT tried out but it's rate 4.3/5 stars over at google play called "Contacts". https://play.google.com/store/...gle.android.contacts Or, if you put something like "bz" in front of all your business contacts so it reads "bz Gary Powers", all you business contacts would be at the end of the B section of your phone, but still in order. Paying attention to what the experts have to say.

Hi again Bendable, I think I may have found a better way. I think our phones are similar but on mine, if I ignore the phone icon on my start scree and instead, swipe up--> then Contacts, it shows "All contacts v " at the top. Also there is a label tag type icon. Tap the label icon --> "+ New Label" (under device, not your google account) --> Name it "Business" or whatever and save it. --> open a business contact --> pencil icon at top to edit --> scroll down to "Add to Label" --> check box for "Business" --> Save Exit out --> open Contacts--> "label" at top --> "Business". It should show only those labeled as such. I hope that can work for you. I was having problems because when I searched on how to do this, I was using the term "groups" or "directories" instead of "labels". The downside is now you have to repeat that tens of times and but just remember to do this w/ your new contacts, it just takes a couple seconds. It's possible my os android 14 is too different.

What's your goal? I think most phones I've seen recently allow you to designate whether a number is a personal or business number. "The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people." "Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy." "I did," said Ford, "it is." "So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?" "It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want." "You mean they actually vote for the lizards." "Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course." "But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?" "Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."
