Meh. Barret’s only feel about like a 20 gauge behind them. Now being off to the left or right of that break…..now THAT IS SOMETHING. Drains my sinuses thinking about it. Smile. :P lol

Yep. First time I fired my 50, I almost knocked out the taillights in the truck. No more shooting across the tailgate.

The only gun I have that makes me pay attention now is a Ruger No.1 in 458 Lott. The snowflake’s writeup kinda describes the the first time I fired the 458. You have to have your retinas reattached after a few rounds.

I missed out on the part where he said somebody secretly replaced the AR with an H+H in 700 Nitro Express?

Every time I see nonsense like this I think of Bonnie Parker, who was just around 5ft tall and a hundred pounds shooting a BAR.

Or one of those .50 sharps.

If a journalist really wants to understand why we have the M16 family of rifles, and by extension the AR-15 family, let him first fire the M1 Garand.

Don't mind me, but I've got one of these odd memories - you know, the kind that recalls the words of Doris Day's fifties hit 'Que sera, sera' - that kind of thing.

I've seen that article before, years ago, and the response was the same back then. Having just read the so-called 'source document report' they've added a bit to the front and re-hashed it to fit the current scenario.

Balzé Halzé - help me out here - YOU remember it, surely?

LOL... people like this crack me up! My daughter was shooting by the age of 10, and I have photos of her shooting my AR-15 at the age of 13. She has no problem shooting ANY of my guns except maybe my P229 in .357SIG, and she still handles it fine (just doesn't care for the extra-large fireball I think)!

Journalists... what a joke!

The AR15 however is the epitomy [sic] of compromise between good range, light weight, amount of ammo in a standard magazine, accuracy, and shootability, and deadly enough.

I think the first paragraph may just hit the proverbial nail on the head.

Well, there's a saying, and I think it can be applied aptly to today's "woke crowd."

"Christians go to heaven, socialists (the 'woke crowd') go to communism."

At least my heaven is real while theirs is pure fantasy. Considering that fact, I have no desire to join the wokesters.

I guess they want to make sure nobody mistakenly thinks they have too much testosterone.
