I’m sure you are fun at parties. Pointing out anything Trump does which hurts us in the midterms shouldn’t hurt your feelings. I can go on about his missteps. One is going against Pirro on that left ‘lympian being charged with damaging the reflecting pool. I trust Pirro used way more sense in her dealing with that. I don’t know if it rose to felony level, but if so, she knew she couldn’t get an indictment from that joke of a DC grand jury. Soros has killed any hope there with jury nullification training. AFAIK, she’s always been a Trumpster, and him going against her on this should never have happened. I wanted that lefty ‘lympian to to get prosecuted , but only if they had a good case. Again, I trust Pirro with her expertise in these matters. Trump’s handlers really need to step it up to keep him from stepping in it. They know all too well even something seemingly innocuous gets blown out of proportion against him , to republicans, and to us conservatives. Losing these midterms will be devastating to this country…an understatement for sure. Retired Texas Lawman

I don't think Trump really has 'handlers'. I share the angst about the midterms, but although it's stressful and challenging, I do believe we will hold the Senate. I second guess Trump all the time but I do concede the guy is some kind of political savant. When I think he's stumbling, often it's carefully orchestrated behavior.

My feelings couldn't be hurt by a Texas Lawman. I honestly mean that. I would ask what is your expertise in running the office of the President, picking cabinet members, picking POTUS staff, and campaigning for mid terms? Would that question make you storm out of the party?

The only thing that will hurt us in the midterms will be if Republicans, Conservatives & Conservative Republicans stay home on Election Day and do not vote! One only needs to look a Virginia to realize this fact. ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! Yes, and I've told my daughter that... she lives in Virginia. I've voted in every election since 1984 when I turned 18, and that includes smaller municipal elections. I've never missed one, and I'm usually working the election. Still, high turnout doesn't necessarily mean we will win. I remember 2008.... "hope and change" was everywhere. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Yeah, the whining and gashing is fucking annoying. Armchair politicians who know far more than Trump and his people, they could make a lot of money consulting those in charge who don't know jackshit "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

That’s obviously true, but what is evidently not so obvious is why people do that. “A plague on both their houses!” and Parabellum’s comet are two ways that people express their frustrations. Some people are educated enough about the issues to know that despite a multitude of unforced errors committed by their side that it’s still critical that they hold their noses and vote for the best candidates regardless of how far they fall below the “good” or even “moderately acceptable” levels. Many more people, however, are influenced by the faux pas of the moment. Did anyone in the decision-making process give a nanosecond or two of thought to the idea of livestreaming that murderers’ execution? Did someone truly believe that the announcement would motivate the lazy to think, “Dam’ straight. I wasn’t planning to vote before, but now I will”? An unfortunate fact about human nature is that most of us remember the negatives far more than the positives, and therefore like it or not, the positives should be emphasized and the unnecessary negatives minimized by all reasonable means possible and not just excused with the “Everyone makes mistakes,” “Do you think you could do better?*” or the juvenile, “It’s just trolling.” * Yes, actually perhaps, but I’m not one of those people who accepted the job. There were times in my life when I recognized I couldn’t do a proper job and therefore declined to accept it. “Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.” — Plato
