Got an ad from Sams Club, this seems interesting, something you could wear while you workout, sleep, all day. The iWatch doesn't always have enough battery to make it through the night.

Curious if anyone here has an Oura or UltraHuman ring and how it performs.

Reading the specs on both they are similar, the Oura requires a $69 a year subscription the UltraHuman has options for different things if you want to subscribe such as Female Periods, which of course men won't need.

Link UltraHuman Ring

it's not a bad looking ring, available in Gold, Black, Grey etc.

What model? My Apple Watch Ultra goes well over 36 hours on a charge.

I had a boss with an Oura. This was a few years ago, but she liked the data and it ran well. She didn’t stress it in pools or other harsh environments, so no knowledge of that.

And, I know you already have the iWatch but just for other eyeballs on the thread, there’s some options. Garmin has a line of competing smartwatches but if like the idea of collecting the data on yourself it don’t want full smartwatch, then there’s Withings

https://www.withings.com/us/en/watches

No personal experience, found them the other day while hunting something else, and your thread came up. They look decent, like a nice watch, and have the human data functions, guessing to send to your phone.

Regarding the Apple Watch: it's only the Ultra that has enough battery life to go >24 hours. It's the only really frustrating thing about the Apple Watch.

Yes, Mines not an Ultra, the ring goes 14 days without being recharged, even at 36 hours you'll have to remove the watch for some period to recharge.

My series 9 Apple Watch isn’t an Ultra, but runs more than 24 hours on a charge. Mine is the smaller version.

I bought an Oura ring about 4 months ago after years of wearing a Fitbit. It is outstanding. The data is amazing and the sleep tracking has really helped me. I wear it all the time time and only take it off to shower. The battery lasts a week or so if I do not charge it at all. But generally every couple days I put it on the charger when I am in the shower.

I highly recommend it. I used my HSA to buy it direct from Oura and paid for the first year membership with the HSA also. If you decide you want it, members can send a 10% off link. I just need to send you a text with the link.

Not a ring but I have a Garmin Venu3 that has a wealth of fitness/health features and regularly gets 8+ days per charge. That's without using the GPS feature to track workouts. I'm sure it would get less with the GPS but I seldom use that feature.
