I work for a Fortune 100 that has deployments in AWS, Azure and GCP. For reasons that are mostly legit. The point is, multi-cloud can be a reasonable expectation in some environments. Usually it is pick one. Everyone will have different reasons on why their pick was good for them.

As for AI, use of AI as a part of your daily (or near daily) toolbox is an expectation. Not expertise in AI itself as much as an ability to use AI in your work to be more efficient.

As mentioned many times, security. But I see a lot of demand for SD-WAN as well, even though I think it’s a waste of money (the tech, private line has come down in cost monumentally).

Good luck.

As a person with a half dozen certifications the two most requested is the CISSP and PMP.

The one after than is a a cloud cert.
If you get the CISSP, I would go with the CCSP and stay with ISC2 for certification.

YMMV depending on the industry you are in.
