V-Tail, were you in Maynard, MA by chance? Have we had this discussion?
I visited Maynard a few times, either teaching a course or as a student, but my office was in the NY / NJ area.

I wouldn't think so but I have zero experience ordering software from Apple at the time of a purchase.
Mine arrived Wed. afternoon. It was packed in a box containing the computer, charger and nothing else. The Wifi at the house went out Wed. morning so I was not able to download everything I wanted (without using my mobile hotspot) until yesterday afternoon. At&t had to replace my old fiber box on the side of the house They also upgraded my old router to one of their latest models. It was almost perfect timing.

One box, that's what I figured. My tracking is showing to departures from Vietnam that eventually both seemingly arrive in Louisville. After the arrivals in Louisville today, there's a third departure from Vietnam that appears to be following the same path as the first two.

Weird.

It looks like we ordered our MacBook Pro laptops in the nick of time. Smile Prices are up $300 for the same exact machines because of skyrocketing memory prices.

No kidding! I just bought a couple trail cameras and then bought the memory cards. The memory was at least double what it was the last time I bought it and more than half the price of the cameras themselves. Same with the two dashcams I bought: $220 for a dashcam and $120 for the memory. Roll Eyes

My daughter likes the computer. She dual screens it with her iPad.

Glad she likes her MacBook, trapper189.
They have a lot of cool features, especially if you have other apple products.

I'm liking mine so far. A lot has changed since I upgraded from my 2015 MBP. I use it much more than my Lenovo since I retired.

Yeah, I have been looking at a new Mac Mini and man they are pricey for extra RAM (24 g) and storage (2 TB). Plus 10-12 weeks out to build Frown.
