Amen. We owe our Vets a debt that can never be repaid. The best we can do is to acknowledge it and thank them for their service.

I'll be on Main Street of the county seat today. Dressed for the temperature. Parade starts, as usual, at 11:11am ...

Salute!

Sad Day today. ALL of the WW2 Veterans I grew up with; My Dad, all my Uncles, my FIL, have all passed. I guess my Veterans Day has turned into Memorial day.

God Bless all of the Veterans here, past and present.

How do you thank someone who has given you everything you have as a way of life? I'm a long time student of History and dislike war as much as the next guy, but I can't even imagine what our lives would be like if not for our veterans. To all who answered the call, thank you for your sacrifice and service!

I second that! Without my wife’s love and support throughout my 20 year military career, and my two daughters being uprooted every few years, I wouldn’t have been able to have a successful career. Thank God for military spouses and families! Happy Veterans Day to all!

Yes! Whenever someone says “Thank you for your service” I always reply with “Thank you for your support” because I believe that the support of the citizens/taxpayers is crucial for a strong military and therefore a strong national defense.

Happy Veterans Day to our brothers and sisters in arms past and present!

Amen! Without the love, support, understanding and endurance of our spouses and families, we could not have performed our mission. Happy Veteran’s Day to my brothers in arms!

Same situation here, except that most of my uncles who served I didn't see very often or even knew they were veterans. My dad was not a veteran, but worked in war industries. I'm a USAF retiree, though.
