I use one frequently in the kitchen and for soap making and such. Mine crapped out and I am in need of a new one.

Any recommendations for a good/accurate one?

Can’t go wrong here, I have a version but admittedly don’t use it a lot.

Project Farm on YouTube did a head to head test a year ago. I've always had good luck with his recommendations with the caveat as long as his fans don't permanently make Amazon out of stock on his suggestions.

Not a Thermapen (I have two of those), but an infrared thermometer. Thermoworks makes one that I'd buy, but they are backordered. Looking for another good brand.

I was linking to their infrareds, that’s what I have (in addition to their pen, which I do use almost daily), bud didn’t catch that they were back ordered.

They’re in stock now. I just got one for 40% off during a sale which unfortunately just ended.

I've had a Fluke for years. It lives in my service truck and has seen lots of use and abuse. Good choice.
