Having done my fair share of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day shifts, I want to thank you guys and girls who are working this evening and tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to all you, and I hope you guys have safe and uneventful shifts with your “other family”.

I'm out at sea until early January. Been onboard since around the 1st of December.

I thankfully was home for Thanksgiving this year though.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

My daughter works at a nursing home while she is going to college. She works tonight and just left to drive to work (2 hours away). We will hold off on Christmas until she gets home tomorrow.

What is this work thing you speak of? I'm old and retired and I don't do it. Not even sure I remember what it was. I did get up and move out to my power recliner. But thanks to all who still do so I don't have to. Your time will come.

Today and tomorrow.... We tried to get scheduled to let the guys with younger families have one or the other day off.

I was hoping it would be a quiet couple of days, but our local methamphetamine connoisseurs seem to have decided that this is, in fact the season for assorted stupidity on a massive scale.

So, at least I'm not bored!

Riding the radio tonight and tomorrow night. After 13 years I’m used to it, and usually volunteer to work so those with small kids can be home.

Off tonight (did our family Christmas stuff today), back on tomorrow night and the rest of the weekend. Bring on the domestics and custody disputes!

The last couple of weeks have been crazy...ODs, a stabbing, almost had to shoot a guy who was threatening us with a shotgun... hopefully they knock that shit off for the weekend, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.
