Have you ever wondered why more bands don't do instrumental songs ?
I am talking since 1960 or so. What are there ?
Maybe 6% or 9% of all rock and roll bands that did an instrumental or three .
What are two or three of your songs with out words ?
Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency.

There’s probably a couple more that escape me at this moment.

As much as I like instrumental songs, I doubt they have the typical "catch" that songs with lyrics do. After all, they want to make money.

I've got a bunch of rock bands that did instrumental songs but since you asked for two or three. Deep Purple - "A" 200 Montrose - Starliner Gamma - Condition Yellow

This one comes to mind:
On The Who's Quadrophenia album, there are some very muscular, yet musical, instrumentals.
