Have you ever wondered why more bands don't do instrumental songs ? I am talking since 1960 or so. What are there ? Maybe 6% or 9% of all rock and roll bands that did an instrumental or three . What are two or three of your songs with out words ? Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Neck Ties, Hats and ammo brass, Never ,ever touch'em w/o asking first

I've got a bunch of rock bands that did instrumental songs but since you asked for two or three. Deep Purple - "A" 200 Montrose - Starliner Gamma - Condition Yellow "But, as luck would have it, he stood up. He caught that chunk of lead." Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock "If there's one thing this last week has taught me, it's better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it." Clarence Worley

I can think of hundreds… Props to the JS post… Great choice! Here is one that came to mind immediately: Miss you Neil … thank you for the time here. This one comes to mind: On The Who's Quadrophenia album, there are some very muscular, yet musical, instrumentals.
