There was a link on Facebook about Chuck Grassley who is one of my Senators here in Iowa. It was critical of his statement about folks who chose not to save for retirement and instead spent money on women, booze and movies. There were a lot of comments deriding this man from all kind of butthurt liberal think alikes. SOOOO, I had to write a comment telling them how I felt. Out came the torches and pitchforks by a mob. I guess the only opinions allowed were the ones that coincide with their particular line of thought. I have blocked more folks today than I have since I joined FB. If I get any actual threats they will be dealt with by reporting to not only FB but LE authorties.

Welcome to the "tolerant" Left. Sad isn't it? THEY can surely exercise their 1st Amendment rights...But YOU can't.

I wouldn't worry about being burned at the stake just yet. Their mommies won't let them play with matches, they'd have to hire a cab with money they've put aside for video games, and they have to be home by dark, too.

Geez, bettysnephew! What else would you expect from that medium?

This is exactly why I shut off my FaceBook page years ago. I simply couldn't put up with the bullshit that I constantly encountered there.

Thanks,

The problem with these assholes is that they want to have fun today and not save for the future. They are currently and will be standing in line with their hand out wanting to be bailed out. Fuck'em. FUCK THEM. From the bottom of my heart I would love to see each and every on of those shit stains starve to death.

You should know by now, the "common folk" don't have enough brains to set aside something for retirement. That's why the democrats have to take care of them, and make sure they can have the things that poor folk deserve.

I can't imagine how many millions of people out there have based their living style on the knowledge that the government will take care of them. I'm scared to imagine what it would be like if the government shut it off. The cycle is going to be hard to stop.

Yeah...Facebook is nothing but trolls. The most viscious attack I received was when I laughed at a liberal on Mclame's page. I sent that bitch into orbit with just a laugh react. The best repose is "Trump 2020" that really sets em off.

And yes it is quite fun to stir the pot and piss off those worthless progressives.

You are 100% correct. To stop this hand out bullshit is going to take some tough love. This thread has hit a raw nerve with me.

Please don't bother LE with reporting threats unless you have cause to believe them credible.

I follow Gov Greg Abbott on FB. The vicious responses to his posts... I put the block on the haters. And FB makes ridiculous suggestions. I blocked people in Yemen, China, all over the place.

At a 50th class reunion I found that many of my classmates had turned into liberals after not saving for their own retirement.

Every weekend during the summer I watch an endless stream of $60k trucks pulling $50k trailers into the mountains. I often think to myself, how in the world do folks afford this kind of stuff? Oh, that's right, the vast majority of them are probably not saving for retirement.

I drive a 93 Honda and my wife drives a 99 4Runner. We hope to stop working and retire in style when I hit 60.
