"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Most days Apple Watch 3. When at more formal occasions or a night out a Hamilton Jazzmaster or the Tag Hauer Carrera calibre 5 day/date. I love the tag and it will have to do until I pull the trigger on a Rolex submariner.

My old reliable Seiko that I wear every day. I've had it for something like 20 years, just replacing the battery now and then. But I think it's on its last legs now; I had the battery replaced last month and when I got it back the day/date had quit working. I know it was working because I had set them that same afternoon. I took it back to the shop and the guy denied responsibility for it and refused to fix it unless I paid him to. That's one shop I won't be going back to again. There's one slight crack in the crystal just right of 12:00, and the o-ring in the back has been lost. So it's probably finally time for a new one.

16610 Rolex Sub - worn daily for over 18 years. This photo was taken shortly after I knocked off the date bubble. Of course, Rolex insisted I replace the crystal during the last service.

For the past 6 years, I've been wearing a Timex Expedition. I'm hoping to upgrade to a Seiko SKX007 someday.

My other watch is a Movado Fiero, but haven't worn it in a long time since the Citizen took over EDC duty.

That Movado is one slick looking watch!! My Everyday is a Citizens Perpetual Calender Chrono or my Seiko Stainless Chrono.
